As a longtime fan of the children’s television series Avatar: The Last Airbender, I was excited to be given the green light to create a miniland of my own to honor the show I loved so much as a young girl (and still love today!). I had a blast tracing, altering, digitizing, and re-coloring stills from the show to envision how each setting might translate into a themed environment. From queue lines to signage, ADA access, and restaurant menu items, I had so much fun bringing this beautiful show into theme park territory.
