For this two spread memorial article, I knew I needed to make my late artist feel grounded and relatable while keeping the visuals dynamic to tell a compelling story. I came up with this high contrast red, black, and white color palette to match the Rolling Stone aesthetic and catch the eye immediately. With his great stage presence, it was easy to get Chuck to leap off the page. There’s nothing like a wink and a signature move to grab your attention.
